Tattoo
The strongest area of my work to me is the actual image. I think that the image was easy to manipulate and can be seen in my use of the multiply feature and how I bended it to curve on her thigh. The area of my work that can be improved upon is probably how realistic the image is because in all honesty it doesn't look like a real tattoo. I could have worked more with the dodge and burn. It was easy to do the image and place it on the subject. It was also easy to use the multiply filter and to bend it to fit the curve of her thigh.
Though this art project is fairly simple and easy, some aspects of it were difficult. Getting the tattoo to look realistic through dodge and burn was pretty difficult. I used multiply to remove the white background of the image so it could solely be what I had drawn. I used the blend tool to fuzz the image a bit so the tattoo could look a little more worn. I used the move tool to adjust the image's placement. I also used it to warp the image so it could wrap around her thigh. I used dodge and burn to accent highlights and shadows on the image to make it realistic. I demonstrated the goal by drawing an original image and using photoshop tools to make it appear to be a tattoo.

Personality Self Portrait Album Cover
The strongest area of my work is my blending without the layer mask. The reason for this is because I was able to mesh the picture of Haiti with the picture of Australia to create a beautiful rich background. The Australian beach and the Haitian skyline blended together well and the dancers appear to be blue people soaring effortlessly in a swindle of blue. The plays with the hues of blue really worked out. Also the piano doesn't look photoshopped because it has no definitive edges and is partially transparent letting the background color it. Also the blending of the quote with the picture of the couple is blended nicely with the famous sydney opera house was well put together. Overall, my blending was nicely done and some parts look natural. Though I did well with blending, I could improve on blending with a layer mask because it doesn't look all that natural when I incorporated it.So, next time I should try to focus on that and strive to be better. It was easy to move images to where I wanted them. It was also easy to color/ manipulate images and to zoom in.
Though this project was easy it was also time consuming and hard to see a final product. I had to just go with whatever came. It was difficult to quick select and erase excess white parts of the image without doing it for all of the pictures. It took a lot of time to take out all the white spots and at one point I gave up because I had other things to focus on. I used opacity to help the Grey's anatomy image go more into the picture as well as the surgery picture. I used inverse to make the surgery picture go with the sky. I used overly to blend the background of two different landscapes. I used quick select to select and the eraser to erase things I didn't want from the images. I used the layer mask to blend the images with the background. I used multiply to erase the white and blend Leo into the picture. I used difference to blend the piano with the background. I used noise and opacity on the multiply album cover so it could be unrecognizable. I demonstrated the objective by blending 13 images together and making sure there aren't any harsh edges. And I edited the images so that they're not completely recognizable. I also used several tools that I had previously learned about to make this image.
If I were to do this project again I would focus on erasing all the excess white parts and focus on fixing my blending. I would make the images blend into each other better so they could look more natural.

The Clone Wars
The strongest area of my creation to me would be the way I took something as simple as a highlighter and composed something abstract with it. I think the strongest technical aspect of this piece is my use of the brush tool. For the most part I blended everything together well enough. Now, I'm pretty good with the opacity tool, layer mask, and the brush tool. I was able to play with the opacity to line things up well. I was able to use the layer mask and the brush tool effectively enough to compose the piece and have it look interesting enough. With that in mind, I could improve on the lighting of the picture. I could also improve on my blending because I don't know if I would say that this looks realistic. So next time I could take pictures in better lighting and I could be more careful with upstaging. I could also play with the size and hardness of the brush tool. This project wasn't easy but the easiest things to do were to play with the opacity and the brush tool, and to apply the layer mask. It was easy to make the picture as opaque I needed to. The brush tool was pretty simple when it came to changing the desired size and filling in where you wanted the image to appear. The layer mask was a few step process to apply.
This project in general was difficult but the most difficult aspect would probably be taking the pictures and lining them up correctly. It hurt to stay still for a long time and you wanted all the pictures to be as similar as possible when it came to angling. Then, when they were off, to line them up was difficult because they were at weird angles. I used a blue highlighter as the subject of my pictures. I used an IPhone 6s Plus to take the pictures. I used the opacity tool to get a better idea of how my pictures lined up together. I used the layer mask so I would be able to put everything unto one image. I used the brush tool to draw the images onto one another to form the singular picture presented. I demonstrated the goal presented to me by using photoshop to manipulate different pictures of my subject to create one image. I gave the illusion that the subject was altogether in one picture when they were actually different pictures merged together. I used the tools suggested and completed the assignment to the best of my ability.
If I were to do this project again I would most definitely toggle with the colors in the image. I think this would make the picture more aesthetically pleasing if I were to incorporate blues and greens in the picture. I would also be more careful with the brush tool.
